About GRPF
The Festival Experience
The Green Room Piano Festival (GRPF) showcases a select group of the world’s most exciting emerging pianists - artists with exceptional ability, strong musical identity, and clear potential for international careers - the future stars of the instrument.
GRPF takes place as a ticketed evening concert at St. Martin’s Church in Stamford, forming the centrepiece of the festival. The concert features our artists performing on the church’s newly donated Blüthner grand piano, offering a warm and distinctive sound in an intimate setting.
Earlier in the day, we present an open masterclass led by Steinway Top Teacher Award recipient, Vivian Shiao. The masterclass is free and open to the public, giving audiences the chance to observe high-level teaching and the artistic process behind performance.
Together, the masterclass and evening concert offer a complete festival experience - combining insight, development, and performance at the highest level.
